Water Service Water service will be initiated without charge providing the turn on is performed during regular working hours (8:30 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.) Monday through Friday, except holidays. A responsible person, at least 18 years of age, must be present and able to provide access to the meter when the water is turned on. If at that time the internal plumbing does not meet Authority specifications and is not leaking, the consumer must accept responsibility for the water being left on by signing the work order that outlines what needs done to be in compliance.
