Notification

Dear Valued Customer,

Earlier this year we started the first of many changes to improve your customer experience by upgrading  our website and payment portal. We also implemented a new phone system that offers a customer  callback feature and shorter hold times. Now comes the most significant change, an update in our billing  process.

We are excited to announce your new 8.5” X 11” bill! Enclosed in this notification letter is a sample image of the new bill and a guide on “How to Read Your New Bill.” The new bill will include a return  envelope and begin mailing this December. Please note – no return envelope will be included with your  bill if your account has a credit balance or you are on autopay. Your account number is also changing but don’t worry, you will still be able to use your old account number when you call in and when you make a  payment.

In order to facilitate the changes, our main office will be closed to the public on Friday, December 1, and  Monday, December 4 for our billing system upgrade. Representatives will still be available on those  dates to take your calls for customer service inquiries and emergencies. As part of this upgrade, our  online payment option will be unavailable for a portion of the day on Monday, December 4. If you need  to make a payment in person, please use our 24-hour drop box located near the drive-through window.  Due to the inconvenience of these closures, no water service terminations for nonpayment will be  scheduled on these dates. Our office will reopen on Tuesday, December 5 at 8:00 a.m.

We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we continue to navigate these  changes. Please continue to check our website at www.wpjwa.com for any further updates.

Thank you!

Doug Komandt

Executive Director
